The highly-efficient and reliable equipment and process are put into use, cone-type piercer (CTP) + 6-stand 3-roll retaining mandrel PQF mill + 3-stand extracting mill + 14-stand sizing mill, one of the world’s most advanced. Various detection and non-destructive testers are also used in the seamless tube mill workshop to guarantee the tube quality. High-level automation control system is another powerful means for the tube rolling line. 

  More than 90% of the mechanical equipment for the project is contracted to CISDI for design and supply. CISDI self-developed CTP plug circulation device, extracting mill, sizing mill, whole-line automation software programming and integration have made smooth beginning and operation. Above all, the double-layer plug circulation device for large-caliber of tube has been successfully launched therein, IPR-owned by CISDI, characteristic of shortening piercing free time and expanding plug service life and bettering productivity.
