BF#4 of Handan Steel (under Hebei Iron and Steel Group) rehabilitated by CISDI on EPC basis was blown-in on July 11, 2014, and tapped on 12^th, with all systems and equipment running properly and data meeting the expectation.

BF #4 of Handan Steel was built in 1972, with useful volume of 620m³, and was expanded to 1,000m³ in 1997 and overhauled in 2005. The rehabilitation by CISDI covers blast furnace proper, casthouse, casthouse dedusting and some auxiliary facilities. The system is designed to allow fast overhaul without relocating the BF.
